CRAFTS AT GRACELINGS
This page is a bit of a blog as I am just uploading and sharing pictures of various crafty projects I have created recently. I am still experimenting and very much learning through trial and error !!! When I get better at it, some of the things might be for sale in the future. Watch this space !!!
Very soon there will be a page for a few items for sale at www.folksy.com (just need lots more time to produce a stock!!!)

Felt Making
Stitched and embroidery made into cushion.

More felt making made into a Tote Bag - getting a bit fluffy now with use !

Felt Broches with hand made beads. (Some for sale now)

First attempt with pliers, hammer and block. Hand made beads.

First attempt at a dangly necklace. 2nd go was better which I gave to my daughter.

These are my first attempts with polymer clay - very ethnic and primal !!! (bit rustic).

A little more dainty !

More recent work - I wear this to work quite often - lovely glass beads like eyes that you can't really see in the picture.

Very first attempt at jewellery making. Handmade felt beads and polymere beads but I used the wrong stringing material so delicate !

My first needle felted doll (probably the last) ...it took so long needling him and was more difficult to do than I thought - especially the hands!!! need to get the correct wool next time !! Started off as a girl but got so ugly that she turned into a boy. Fun to do as gradually comes to life !!!

Second attempt at Nuno Felting (first fell apart as I didn't apply it on silk - trying to do it cheaper!!!!)
Feels so soft and warm against your skin.

The first attempt (grey one) at a bunny looks abit like a mouse and the second is better but started to look like a donkey !!

First, second and third attempts at Easter Chicks. (I like the 3rd one but
the expression of the 1st)

First crochet amigurumi animal. Very fidly - need good eyesight !!

Crochet snood - very quick to make in treble crochet.

She is 44cm (about 17') high. She ended up a bit short legged and took too long to make, so will stick to the bunny rabbits I think !!!

These are for the grandchildren.

And these are for me - I loved them so much, I had to have one.

Amigurumi crochet monkey and giraffe for grandchild to be!!!!

Recycled from large cardigan of a special lady - felted - cut - and sewn !

Recycled cushion from scarf

This has taken soooo long to finish but turned out a bit too big.
The wool (with silk) is gorgeous though. It will have to be a 'sloppy joe'

Tooth Fairy pillows with pouch for money!!!

Crochet bag - great for current knitting or crochet project !!

Couldn't find owl pattern so had to make one - this is the prototype!
Nicer fabric next time and less lumpy cushion stuffing !!!
